Shipping & Returns
How is shipping calculated?
We base shipping amounts off the weight and size and where you are located (orders ship from New Jersey). Items are normally shipped via USPS within 5 business days of when the order was placed. Expedited shipping may be available upon request (email us). Transit time within the US can range from 1 to 10 business days.
Where do we ship?
We ship to the US and Canada. If you would like to place an order, but don't live in the US or Canada, please email us to see if shipment can be arranged.
Transit time for international shipments is 3-4 weeks on average. Please note we are not responsible for any customs charges that may be incurred.
When can I expect my order to ship?
We process orders within 24 hours of being placed Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm. Orders being placed on the weekends will be processed on Monday. All orders are shipped ground. If you need an order expedited, email us and we'll see what we can do.
Can you ship to an address other than my billing address?
Yes. At checkout you will be able to enter separate billing and shipping information. You must give us the correct billing address and the phone number your credit card company has listed on your account. This is for verification purposes. Heritera does not ship any order without proper billing information.
Returns
At Heritera we take great pride in the quality of every product we offer, and creating a positive experience for every purchase is our goal. If you are not satisfied with your purchase we will do everything we can to make things right. If you wish to return an item, please see our policy below:
- We accept merchandise returns for standard items within 14 days of delivery.
- All returns must be pre-authorized.
- Prior to returning any merchandise, please email us here returns@heritera.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We cannot accept returns without a Heritera issued RMA number.
- Returns must be properly packaged, fully insured, trackable and sent to: Heritera, 279 Pine Street, Jersey City, NJ 07304. You are responsible for the returned items until delivered at address above.
- Items returned must be in original packaging, in unused and undamaged condition.
- For some items, a 15% restocking fee may apply. Please check the item product detail page for info on whether or not this applies to your returned item.
- Items on sale are not eligible for returns.
- Please note we cannot credit or refund you the cost of any shipping charges.
- Shipping charges originally paid by Heritera will be deducted from your refund.
- Please allow up to 4 weeks for processing your return.
Damaged or Defective Items
In the unlikely event your item arrives damaged or defective, we will arrange a replacement and a return immediately. Please inspect all orders upon delivery. In order to be issued a replacement:
- Damages and defects must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
- Digital photos of the damaged items must be submitted with your request.
Please Note: Due to the handmade nature or material of some products, there may be some natural variation that exists between the item received and photos shown on the site. In most cases this is normal and expected.
